Mairi Kidd and Juergen Panoscha bring more than five decades of combined professional experience to Kidd Panoscha Architecture & Design. Their work has covered every aspect of creating physical spaces; from residential to retail, from commercial to craft.

Mairi and Juergen blend that experience to bring an innovative approach to every new challenge. Mairi started Kidd Panoscha shortly after the family relocated to Portland in 2004 after 10 years of living and working in the Washington DC area.  Juergen joined the firm full time at the end of 2016.

The intersection of Mairi and Juergen's unique individual backgrounds enable them to bring a diverse and collaborate approach to the work that they produce. Their design solutions are grounded in a foundation of practical approach.

Mairi and Juergen's design approach considers the tension between creative goals, space considerations, budget and timing parameters, and any other project challenges that may be present. The balance they bring between delivering on a dream and meeting the practical is what truly makes their design solutions exceptional.
